No video in cop cars when Pace student killed

WHITE PLAINS, NY

The disclosure by the Westchester County district attorney was made in a court document released Tuesday by Michael Sussman, a lawyer for the parents of the shooting victim, 20-year-old Danroy Henry.

The Pace University student from Easton, Mass. was killed Oct. 17. He was driving away from the scene of a disturbance in Thornwood, near the Pace campus.

Police have said Henry sped off and hit two officers. Some witnesses contradict that account.

The court document said some police cars at the scene were equipped with cameras but they were "not operational during the shooting incident." It did not say why.
