Positive thinking for good health

While looking into delaying the effects of aging, researchers focused on three main factors: strong social relationships, exercise and a positive attitude.

Both exercise and a social life proved to be important, but the study revealed that people who took a more positive approach to life experienced a healthier and longer life.

The research suggests this is probably a lifelong process, so it's never too soon to get started.

The study was conducted by Psychologists Margie E. Lachman and Stefan Agrigoroaei of Brandeis University in Boston.
