A new study found that your family history may trump high tech tests when it comes to predicting your risk for cancer.

Researchers say that questioning relatives about their history of specific cancers can help alert doctors to screen patients for them.

In one study, a detailed family history caught more cancers than genomic testing of patients.

The research was conducted at the Cleveland Clinic.
