Study finds low numbers of women get HPV vaccine

New research shows that fewer teenagers and young girls are getting the HPV vaccine.

The study found that just one-third of young women who start the three-shot series actually get them all.

Almost 75 percent don't get the vaccine at all.

Some doctors believe suspicions about the vaccine and its side effects are to blame for the statistics. Also, the stigma surrounding sexually transmitted diseases may also be a deterrent, especially for parents.
