Times Square reopened, window secured

November 17, 2010 8:25:27 PM PST
A section of Times Square was closed as firefighters worked to repair a broken window.

A ninth floor window pane at 750 7th Avenue broke, likely from wind-blown debris.

It took firefighters a couple of hours to cut the pane to remove it.

There had been concern that it may fall and injure someone on the street in the process.

The window is now secure and all streets are reopened.
