The suspect is wanted in connection with 13 residential burglaries over the last six weeks.
In each case, the suspect enters the victim's apartments through the front door while they are sleeping, often waking them in the process, and removes electronics and wallets.
The suspect is identified as 40-year-old Irving Walker, of the Bronx.
Police say he has been targeting the areas of Madison Street between Rutgers and Catherine streets, East Broadway between Pike and Rutgers streets, and Eldridge and Forsyth streets between Hester and Grand streets.
