A resident contacted police and reported hearing glass break in the area of Westchester Drive, and seeing at least two suspicious people walking around an area home at approximately 4:45 a.m.
Seventh Precinct officers located two suspects in the area and a third suspect was located waiting in a vehicle a short distance away.
Police say an investigation revealed the men were responsible for burglaries early Friday morning on Odin Road, Nautilus Road, and Freya Road in Rocky Point, plus a grand larceny and an attempted burglary on Westchester Drive in Rocky Point.
26-year-old Damien Beeker of Ronkonkoma, 25-year-old Joseph Manginello of Rocky Point, and 18-year-old Michael Diebel of Rocky Point, were charged with two counts of Burglary 2nd Degree, Burglary 3rd Degree, Grand Larceny 4th Degree, and Attempted Burglary 2nd Degree.
Beeker and Manginello were also charged with one additional count of Burglary 2nd Degree, for an incident that occurred on Violet Road in Rocky Point on November 25th.
The men will be held overnight at the Seventh Precinct and are scheduled to be arraigned at First District Court in Central Islip on Saturday, November 27th.
