A lawsuit filed in federal court says the officer forwarded photographs and videos involving the conduct of William Vasilakos and his girlfriend.
Attorney Norman Pattis said Monday that the episode was deeply embarrassing for his client and he is seeking punitive damages.
The lawsuit says officer Michael Presti sent himself the photos after arresting Vasilakos on a breach-of-peace charge on Aug. 16, 2008. Stamford police did not immediately respond to messages seeking comment.
Vasilakos is a plaintiff in the lawsuit along with his girlfriend from the time, Maria Saltsides.
