Fire at ABC's Brian Ross' CT home

A fire destroyed an office inside ABC News correspondent Brian Ross' Connecticut weekend home.

Fortunately no one was injured.

The fire broke out Monday at 2:30 p.m. on Lucas Road in the town of Sharon.

Firefighters were able to save the majority of the home.

The cause of the fire has not yet been determined.

Ross tweeted: "The fire completely destroyed my office where I often appear during wknd breaking news and where I wrote a good portion of my book on Madoff."

" A fire at my Conn. home today, thankfully no one was hurt. Our family thanks the Sharon and other local fire depts for saving the house."
