From the main screen, iPad users launching the new Eyewitness News app have tiles to choose from -- sections include top news, Eyewitness News investigations, 7 On Your Side, Save Money and more. Just tapping enter will take users to the stories Eyewitness News is covering with text and video on the screen. Pinching the screen will make the video full screen or reduce its size.
Also on the app: the latest AccuWeather forecast. Not only can you watch the forecast from Lee, Bill and Jeff, but also check up-to-the-minute animated radar for the New York area and three other locations of your choice.
When there's breaking news and severe weather, the Eyewitness News iPad app will have alerts, and live video streaming.
