Championship boxer's belt stolen

Iran "The Blade" Barkley's WBC Middleweight Championship belt has been stolen.

Barkley won the belt in 1988 with a triple knockout upset of Tommy Hearns.

The belt was reported missing on Thursday, October 28th.

Barkley says he returned to his family's home where he was staying in the Mott Haven section of the Bronx, to find the belt missing.

Since the robbery, Barkley fell on hard times, and was last reported to be living out of motel rooms.

The Belt is described as being green with a gold center piece with the letters "WBC" on it.

Multiple national flags are displayed on the edge of the center piece.
