Suspect sought in Toys for Tots theft

Police are looking for a heartless thief who walked off with a Toys for Tots donation box.

It happened at a Quick Chek on Washington Ave. in the town of Ulster on November 22.

The suspect removed a large white stuffed animal and fled out the front door of the store, authorities said.

New York State Police have released a photo from video surveillance in hopes of identifying the culprit.

He is described as a white man wearing a plaid jacket and fingerless gray gloves.
