What were traffic agents doing during the blizzard?

It's back to business as usual today for traffic enforcement agents policing those meters, but what about last week when no tickets were being issued?

James Huntley is the union rep for New York City's 2800 or so traffic enforcement agents. He says that the first weekday of the blizzard agents who made it into work didn't go outside for safety reasons.

After that, he claims those who normally write summonses hit the street in full force.

However, some are questioning what the parking agents were actually doing during the storm?

City Councilman James Vacca, who is head of the transportation committee, plans to hold a hearing on the entire transportation response during the blizzard.

There's already at least one other scheduled on the overall emergency response.
