NJ to reimburse some for storm-related towing

TRENTON

The department said Monday that it will accept claims from motorists who were stranded "due to circumstances beyond their control."

It said further information on eligibility and how to submit claims will be provided in the coming days.

Hundreds of motorists were stranded by the Dec. 26-27 storm that left parts of New Jersey covered with more than 2 feet of snow and closed highways under drifts as much as 8 feet deep.
