Suspect arrested in livery cab driver shooting

BUFFALO

Shawn Peace, 22, will be brought to Queens by NYPD detectives.

Peace was tracked through his cell phone use.

He is suspected of shooting 53-year-old livery driver Trevor Bell on Dec. 3 in Queens.

Bell was shot six times in the neck and legs, critically wounding him. He is recovering at Jamaica Medical Center.

The assault on the cab driver was also caught on taxi surveillance video.

Peace is also being investigated for his involvement in gunpoint robberies of livery drivers and fast-food restaurants in Queens and Nassau County.
