No injuries in small plane crash in Cheshire

CHESHIRE, Conn.

Jim Peters, a spokesman for the Federal Aviation Administration, says the light sport aircraft crashed upside down while headed to the Oxford-Waterbury Airport. He says the plane was registered to an Oxford aviation service company.

WTNH-TV reports that the plane departed the New Bedford, Mass., Regional Airport.

Peters says the pilot reported unspecified engine trouble. The pilot and passenger called police from the house near where they crashed.
