Props For Today, a New York company, is opening its doors to the public for a weekend sale of various furniture pieces previously used by celebrities.Dyann Klein has a passion for furniture and her company, Props For Today is proof. In an 85 thousand square foot showroom located in Midtown, countless pieces of furniture are on display. Aside from the aesthetic quality, each piece of furniture has a unique value. Klein rents the pieces out for movies, television series, and award shows. There is a brass trimmed wood and leather table from All My Children, Jesse Martin's chair from Law and Order, and the mirror that Natalie Portman gazed into in The Black Swan.

Klein is familiar with many celebrities and says, "There are some that come in here to do their own birthday parties, Uma Thurman has been in here, Tony Soprano came in and bought a chair." Beyonce, Madonna, and Michael Douglas can also be added to the list. Dyann has such an eye for furniture that she has collected too much, which is her reason behind holding a rare, three day sale. She says, "We have china, lamps, artwork, antiques, we have so many things it just goes on and on." Props for Today is not usually open to the public but it will be for the sale with great discounted prices.
