Police say that on Wednesday January 19, 2011 at approximately 1:30 a.m. the victim, a 25-year-old woman was walking in the vicinity of St. Felix Street and Hanson Place in Fort Greene when she was approached from behind by the suspect.
The suspect grabbed the victim and attempted to remove her clothing. The victim began to scream, alerting passerby's and the suspect fled the location. The victim was not injured.
The suspect is a white man, between 30-35 in age, 5'11"-6'0", medium build and light colored hair. He was wearing a dark pea coat with a light colored button down shirt.
