Residents evacuated due to CO scare in Queens

Seven homes in Ridgewood, Queens are being evacuated Sunday morning due to carbon monoxide concerns.

Smoke started billowing from four manholes near Hart Street around 8 a.m.

MTA buses picked up approximately 25 residents who have been displaced.

FDNY, OEM and Con Ed crews are working the scene.

The venting operations are so far being successful in getting the carbon monoxide levels to drop.
