Germany's Dold win NY Empire Run-Up race again

Thomas Dold, of Stuttgart, Germany, has achieved his sixth consecutive victory at the Empire State Building Run-Up.

Dold dashed up 86 flights of stairs on Tuesday in 10 minutes, 10 seconds. His time last year was 10 minutes, 16 seconds.

The New York Road Runners club says Alice McNamara of Melbourne, Australia, has won the women's division. She's a medical student and a member of the Australian national rowing team. Her time was 13 minutes, 3 seconds.

The race features 1,576 steps, from the lobby to the outdoor observation deck of the famous Manhattan building.
