New York City extends Restaurant Week

Now is your chance to feast on some of New York City's finest cuisine for a fraction of the usual price.

If you're a gourmet foodie or just a casual diner who missed out on the chance to try some great restaurants during Restaurant Week, you're in luck.

New York City has extended the event another three weeks. Deals now run through Sunday, February 27.

Prices will remain $24.07 for three-course prix-fixe lunches and $35 for three-course prix-fixe dinners.

Officials say there has been so much snow that it has been tough for people to get out.
