Parking rules are about to change for car owners in Jersey City, New Jersey.

Officials say parking will be prohibited on several streets this week so they can clean up the giant snow mounds blocking parking spaces and hindering driving.

Starting Monday, no parking is allowed on Newark Avenue from Brunswick Street to Tonnelle Avenue. Parking is also restricted on Garfield Avenue from Wilkson and Communipaw avenues, as well as Grove Street from Grand to Christopher Columbus Drive.
