Authorities say 36-year-old Marcus Manson of Windsor was shot to death on Barbour Street at about 4 a.m. on Sunday. A second victim suffered non-life threatening injuries and was transported to St. Francis Hospital.
There was no immediate word of an arrest.
Police also investigated a shooting at the Symmetry Lounge club on Union Place earlier Sunday morning. The victim, whose name was not released, was taken to St. Francis in serious condition.
There were no suspects.
Police are appealing for the public's help in both shootings, which do not appear connected.
