6 years of work near Holland Tunnel begins

There's another headache for drivers headed into Manhattan - six years of construction near the Holland Tunnel.

Beginning Monday, water pipe construction will do away with one of the main routes used by drivers as they enter Manhattan.

Right turns onto Hudson Street will no longer be possible.

That's going to push more traffic onto local streets in TriBeCa and onto West Street and Sixth Avenue.
