Three men broke into Barbuto Restaurant on Washington Street in the West Village early Saturday morning.
Police say they approached a worker, tied his hands and blindfolded him at knifepoint.
When they could not break into the safe, the trio grabbed two laptops and ran.
The suspects remain on the loose.
They are described as:
Suspect#1: Hispanic male, 20-24 years old, 5'8", medium build. He was last seen wearing a black and white hooded jacket with blue jeans, white sneakers and a dark back pack.
Suspect#2: Hispanic male, 20-24 years old, 5'9", medium build. He was last seen wearing a blue jacket with blue jeans and a baseball cap.
Suspect#3: Hispanic male, 19-21 years old, 5'8", medium build. He was last seen wearing a light gray hooded sweatshirt with blue jeans.
