Search for suspect in Brooklyn sex assault

BROOKLYN

Police say the incident happened Friday morning at 9 a.m. at a bagel shop, when a 22-year-old worker was sexually assaulted by a man wearing a ski masked and armed with a gun.

"I mean 9 am, that's crazy, there's a lot of people out at 9am," said Viviana Balderas.

Police released surveillance video of the suspect wearing a black hat within minutes of the attack. But police say he wore a ski mask and stuck a black colored gun in her face when he walked in demanding money. When she said she had none, he shoved her into a back room, and the ground and sexually assaulted her. The woman was treated and released from Kings County Hospital.

The suspect is described as a black male, approximately 5'5", 160 lbs. He was wearing dark colored clothing.
