Two subway stations in the Bronx are closed Monday for repairs and will remain shut down for eight months.

Both are on the No. 6 line.

The MTA says passengers who use the Elder Avenue and St. Lawrence Avenue stations will have free transfers to and from local buses.

The work will include new canopies, repaired stairways, refurbished platforms and new lighting and public address systems.
