Police say the man approached the victims at gunpoint in separate attacks in Bay Ridge last Friday.
One woman was pistol whipped but fought the attacker off.
The other was sexually assaulted.
Surveillance video showed the suspect just after that attack.
He also stole the women's cell phones and money.
The suspect is a white man between 5'6" and 5'9", weighing 150-170 pounds.
He was wearing a dark-colored windbreaker, a blue hoodie, and tan maybe gray pants.
