/*Suffolk County*/ police arrested /*Jessica Lazarus*/, 39, of /*Centerport*/ at her home Monday afternoon.
They say her car struck a Toyota, which in turn hit a Jeep.
The drivers of those vehicles were treated for non-life threatening injuries. The boy was not harmed and was turned over to a family member.
Lazarus also was charged with leaving the scene of an accident with injury and endangering the welfare of a child.
It was not immediately clear if she had a lawyer.
