A new study suggests the amount of coffee you drink may be in your genes.

Researchers at Harvard found people who carry a specific version of two genes are more likely to drink extra coffee.

The study found people with a high consumption of the gene took in 40 more milligrams of caffeine every day.

Forty milligrams equals a can of soda or a third of a cup of coffee.
