They could be worse.
The Asthma and Allergy Foundation of America has ranked the worst cities in the U.S., taking into account the presence of tree pollen, the number of allergy medications used in the area and the number of local allergy specialists. The worst three are Knoxville, Louisville and Charlotte.
New York City ranks 23rd.
New Haven is 47th.
No city in New Jersey ranked in the top 100.
