The 29-year-old victim appeared to have been strangled in the couple's apartment in the /*Sunset Park*/ section, investigators said.
A heated argument apparently sparked the deadly confrontation.
The couple's 7-year-old daughter was also inside the home, but police said she didn't witness what happened.
The victim has been identified as /*Cynthia Lopez*/.
Police have arrested 28-year-old /*Daniel Elias*/. He has been charged with murder.
