The leak was reported at The Solaire building at 20 River Terrace just before 10:30 a.m.
The lower part of the building was being evacuated as a precaution as workers tried to locate the leak.
The 27-story luxury residential tower is a green building, which meets strict environmental guidelines. It consumes 35 percent less energy than other residential high-rise building.
