Houston protests over Enterprise coming to Intrepid

A battle is brewing over the space shuttle Enterprise.

Earlier this week, NASA decided to display the shuttle in New York City.

But some in Houston say not so fast and that they deserve it more.

One Utah and 16 Texas Congressman are threatening to introduce legislation to block the Enterprise from coming to NYC, saying Houston's Johnson Space Center is more deserving, sighting logic and history.

Right now NASA plans to send Discovery to the Smithsonian, Atlantis to Kennedy Space Center, Endeavour to California Science Center, and Enterprise to the Intrepid.

For now, the Texas congressmen are pushing NASA to reconsider.

There is no word on if or when any legislation would be introduced.
