Police were called to /*Academy Street*/ for a possible recovered stolen car on Friday afternoon.
When police got there, they noticed blood inside the 2011 Hyundai Sonata.
The Emergency Services Unit was called to pry open the trunk of the car.
Once the trunk was opened, police found the body of /*Daniel Scialom*/, 32, of Brooklyn.
Police say he died of an apparent gunshot wound.
Scialom was reported missing in New York City on Thursday.
The vehicle has been impounded as police continue their investigation.
