New Jersey collecting Hats for Troops

April 20, 2011 4:30:37 AM PDT
At the Warren County Clerk's Office in New Jersey, there is a new project that has nothing to do with forms or files.

They are collecting new baseball caps for U.S. military personnel stationed overseas.

The clerks set an initial goal of 1,000 caps, but the Yankees alone donated 2,000. They have already collected a total of about 5,000 hats and will continue to accept donations through the summer.
