The hunt is on for the gunman who shot a young Bronx mother in the head Monday night, gunfire that was intended for her boyfriend.

Police say 21-year-old Gary Davis was aiming at the 20-year-old Bolivia Beck's boyfriend when he opened fire on East 137th Street at around 7:15 p.m. Monday.

Instead, the single bullet hit Beck in the head. She is in grave condition at Lincoln Hospital.

Beck was next to her boyfriend, 21-year-old Joey Colon, who was not injured. Colon has prior arrests and served more than two years in prison for robbery and criminal possession of a weapon.

Davis also has prior arrests for assault and robbery.

Beck has a 4-year-old daughter and no criminal record.
