Newark Mayor Cory Booker named to 'Time 100' list

Newark Mayor Cory Booker's ongoing efforts to revitalize the city have earned him a spot on an exclusive list - the "Time 100."

"Time" magazine" named Cory Booker one of the 100 most influential people in the world.

The list recognizes activism and achievement.

Since taking office in 2006, Booker has spearheaded the revival of New Jersey's largest city.

The mayor said he was humbled by the honor and that it's a testament to the hard work of the people of Newark.
