Suspect wanted in five Staten Island robberies

The NYPD is looking for a suspect wanted in a string of robberies in Staten Island.

Police allege that 34-year-old Alexander Molina robbed five businesses in the St. George section and robbed them at gunpoint.

The first happened on Sunday, April 24th at 8:20 a.m.

The suspect entered a grocery store located at 4 Osgood Avenue where he walked behind the counter simulating a firearm in his pocket and stole an undetermined amount of money. He got away on foot.

The second robbery happened later that same day at 8:30 p.m.

Molina allegedly entered a deli located at 105 Stuyvesant Place where he walked up to the counter, took out a gun and demanded money.

A clerk gave the suspect an undetermined amount of money, and again he ran away.

Just three hours later, he is accused of entering a grocery store located at 2071 Clove Road and showing a firearm.

The suspect walked behind the counter and demanded money, and then ran away.

On Monday, at 4:50 a.m., the suspect entered a deli located at 200 Rhine Avenue where he again threatened the clerk with a firearm and removed the cash register.

He fled the store carrying the cash register, which contained an undetermined amount of money.

Later that day, at 7:55 p.m., the suspect entered a liquor store located at 548 Vanderbilt Avenue where he placed a hard object to victim's back and demanded money.

Molina allegedly forced the victim to the back of the store where he removed an undetermined amount of money from two separate cash registers.

The suspect then fled the location on foot.

There were no injuries to any of the victims in any of the incidents.
