The suspects reportedly found the first victim on /*backpage.com*/ and /*Craigslist*/ to get the second.
The first robbery happened on April 30th at around 3:20 p.m.
One of the suspects entered the 24-year-old woman's room inside of the Wellington Hotel on 7th Avenue.
While inside, the suspect displayed a knife and demanded the victim's cash and cell phones.
The young woman then struggled with the suspect and received a cut to her left hand before he ran away with her cash and cell phones.
The victim was taken to an area hospital where she received medical attention for her injury.
Then, on Sunday, May 1st at 12:05 p.m. the same suspect entered the room of a 30-year-old woman at the Roosevelt Hotel on 45th Street.
Again, the suspect displayed a knife and demanded the victim's property.
The prostitute struggled and the suspect placed her in a choke hold until she lost consciousness.
The suspect then stole her money, a laptop and cell phones before fleeing to an elevator where a second suspect was waiting.
The victim was did not request medical attention.
Suspect #1 is described as being a black or Hispanic man, 5'5" tall, 155 lbs, with long hair pulled back into a pony tail. He was armed with a pocket knife.
Suspect #2 is described as being a black or Hispanic man, 5'8" tall, and 160 lbs.
