Report: NYPD response time down since 2007

The NYPD is reportedly slowing down.

It now takes almost eight and a half minutes for officers to respond to a 911 call for help.

The New York Post reports that time is 90 seconds slower than the response time clocked back in 2007.

Police brass blame the delays on a boom in response times for non-critical jobs, such as graffiti.
