Police in Westchester County have found the body of a missing swimmer overnight.

Investigators in Mamaroneck say 28-year-old Larvell Paylor of Mt. Vernon, NY. disappeared in the waters off of Harbor Island Beach on Sunday afternoon.

Witnesses say the man was swimming with his girlfriend.

Authorities said signs at the entrance of the beach state "NO LIFEGUARD ON DUTY" and "SWIMMING PROHIBITED."

The search started around 7:00 p.m.

Paylor's body was found in the waters around 4:00 a.m. on Monday.

Officials said it appears to be an accidental drowning, but an autopsy will be conducted to determine the cause of death.
