Battle over Empire State Building helicopter tourism

NEW YORK

The New York Times is reporting owners of a business offering simulated helicopter rides say the city is unfairly targeting them.

The owners of Skyride, located in the high-rise, say the NYPD has issued 14 tickets and arrested six employees for not having vendor licenses.

They say it's because the building managers want them out.

The state Supreme Court has now ordered the city to stop issuing tickets until the court can hear the case.
