Just how hard is New York City enforcing it's newly expanded ban on smoking in public places?

In the month that the law has been in effect, the city has issued just one ticket for a smoking violation.

The Wall Street Journal reports more than 700 people have been warned to stop smoking.

But for now, there's just that one fine, for $50.
