Police say the victim was attacked in the stairwell of the West 136th Street apartment building just after 9:30 p.m. Monday.
He was stabbed four times, including multiple times to the torso, and pronounced dead at Harlem Hospital.
The brother and sister were taken into custody and charges against them are pending.
Police say the siblings had lived in the building for the past 10 years.
