Subways running again after manhole fire

NEW YORK

It all started around 4:00 p.m. Thursday from a manhole fire in Brooklyn, which knocked out power to the signals in the area.

Con Ed says the mahole is located in the vicinity of Flatbush Avenue and Bergen Street. They say it's too early to tell what caused the fire and loss of power to the signals.

Also, a man was struck by a southbound A train at the Fulton Street Station around 4:20 p.m. He was conscious when transported to Bellevue Hospital, official said.

Local service has resumed on the 2, 3, 4 and 5 trains.

A and C trains are back to normal as well.
