Aerialist arrested for climbing Williamsburg Bridge

NEW YORK The acrobats must have been climbing the walls in the courthouse.

For the last 24 hours they've been locked up after the stunt that drew crowds on the Williamsburg Bridge Monday night.

Aerialist Seanna Sharpe was seen swinging 300 feet above traffic.

Thomas Savage Skinner was there too, but he's not as visible in a lot of the video that's popped up on YouTube.

A friend of the daredevil duo has been waiting for them to get out of jail.

"I'd love to just hear that they'll be released and have to come back for a court date whenever," their friend said.

When they do walk, maybe we'll get more answers about why the aerialists felt compelled to climb the bridge.

Among those watching down below was Joe Barborak.

"She could have fallen and hurt herself. I'm not saying no fun at all, just within reason, entertain yourself and others within reason and within the law," Barborak said.
