At least 13 members of the gang were rounded up during Wednesday morning raids, while other alleged members were arrested in Florida, Texas and Puerto Rico.
The suspects were charged with weapons possession, conspiracy to traffic narcotics, gun charges and marijuana possession.
The gang members are alleged to have used violence to intimidate residents of the neighborhood into allowing them to sell drugs and guns.
Several drug related homicides are also attributed to members of the group.
