A flag recovered from ground zero after September 11th, damaged but not destroyed, will be in the nation's capital Thursday.

Congressional leaders and first responders will be among those adding stitches to the national 9/11 flag.

The flag was found after the attack on a building facing ground zero.

It's now on tour, allowing people from all 50 states a chance to add to it.

The completed flag will be part of the 9/11 Memorial Museum.
