UPPER EAST SIDE

There are seven instances of these attacks on women on the /*Upper East Side*/.

We spoke to many women who are nervous and outraged; men are too.

Police say the suspect targets women on the Upper East Side, often approaching them from behind and groping them.

The suspect has a distinguishing characteristic; his height.

Police say he's 4'11".

Debbie Blakla worries about her daughter who lives in the neighborhood.

"I tell her to be cautious. You have to be careful," Blaka said.

On Saturday morning, police were examining a crime scene on /*East 88th Street*/ near /*First Avenue*/.

A 29-year-old woman was heading inside her home when a man approached her from behind.

He reached under her dress and groped her.

She wasn't hurt, but she was taken to a local hospital to be checked out.

"It's the aggression at women that's outrageous and unacceptable," said neighbor Richard Lane.

The man responsible for these groping incidents is the subject of wanted posters in Carl Shurz Park.

There's a $2,000 reward for information leading to his arrest which many hope happens soon.

"It's kind of disturbing. Hope you're safe in your own neighborhood and you hope they find him and get him," said neighbor Katie Wanner.

Until then, Wanner and her boyfriend Blake Harris say to guard against being targeted, it can't hurt to travel with someone and to use the buddy system.
